  1. im goin from a 3.8 turbo to a 350 and i need to know what fuel line to use from the tank ( is it the big 3/8 one) and if the sending unit in it is ok to use for a carbed engine

the fuel sending unit has nothing to do with a carb.. if the car has an electric pump just get a regulator to regulate higher pressures. im sure you might hear it more than once.. but why a chevy motor? can you not find a buick motor anywhere near? you wouldnt regret using a buick 350 or 455 in that beast even though it costs more the end result is priceless.

    thanks,

simply put when it come to torque...
    buick>chevy...
when it comes to making something just run cheap and nothing special
sbc wins every time. but you will always have something to be desired in the driveway... called torque

  5. Well I'm 15 years old and I just need a car to get around it and not be to terible on gas. So but this engine this guy gave to me and my regal came from cousin for free and its a 87 regal turbo t limited (wo2 option) 1 of 1005 but the engine was stolen out of it. Hahaha wow ain't that crazy

  6. I rebuilt the engine. I put a mild lunati cam and all the goodies. Intake headers distributor roller rockers. Rear is 342 posi. So it'll be fun to cruise in with my buddies.

maybe you could sell the 350 and get another v6 turbo engine?

That is quite a desirable car and would be worth big bucks back to original if its nice. If you don't have the cash you still sell it as a roller for good money(if it's nice) and buy a plain jane regal to play with.

If that's what it will take to keep enjoying the car and you already have a fresh Chevy motor, just put it in there. It's not a difficult swap and you can always take it back out someday if you get another Turbo 6 built to go back in. I found myself in that same situation. I already had the SBC built and ready for a Nova which I no longer had. Yeah, I get some static about it but what the heck, it's what it took for me to keep enjoying the car. I'll get the 455 finished someday as time and money allow. Not everyone has a money tree growing in their back yard. The best part about it is if you blow up the Chevy you can find another one in less than an hour, and cheap.

  12. thankyou, ill be enjoying it
