April 7th in Salina KS. My first time entering a car into a show. Entered in category "Diamond in the rough". I have learned that there are a few student cars in this category, so my hopes are not very high, but hoping for a fluke. Noticed the car show categories for "original" and "restored" were limited to chevy, ford and mopar. If you were in my shoes and but had a kick butt original car, how would you enter it? BTW, a collector brought 25 cars to the show today for the inside show. My son told me they were parking cars for the event, unless you insisted on driving your own car in. Unless you worked on it, you ain't driving it is my attitude, so hopefully they let me drive it in. Is this normal? ( the parking part I mean, not my attitiude part) BTW both my sons and my wife and my best friend have worked on it, so if they asked, I would reluctuntly let them drive it.
