Looking for a 70 only rust free core support. I no they have an aftermarket and nos ones but this is for my stage car so I want an original 70 one. I do have a repairable 70 I would trade with cash
You could always buy one of the "70" style reproductions and use pieces of it as patch panels to repair your original. Then you would have all the correct date codes visible and it would be solid. You could also use one of the NOS 71-72 style core supports and do the same thing. The only difference would be the diameter of the holes where the bushings mount. Duane
I was thinking of doing that. Prob will if I cant find one I was hoping some one had a skylark or gs they were working on would part with there's and put an aftermarket in a car with lesser value and they would make a few hundred dollars extra on top of the cost of a new core support. I'm willing to spend up to 800 - 1000
I’ve got a real nice solid one I took out of a 70 4 door car years ago. Might consider parting with it.
