That's cool to hear! I'm going to do what I can since I'll have the engine out. We'll see what I feel comfortable doing without a machine shop.

Got both exhaust manifolds off today, only broke one bolt on the passenger side! I'll deal with it when I have the engine on the stand, for now I'm just going to use 2 or 3 bolts per side to hold the turbo manifolds on while I make sure everything fits. Hell I may even run the heads from the other 350 core as they look amazingly clean under the valve covers.

Also continuing to tackle the AC evap box/heater core removal. I've read on here that there is a stud that one can drill out on the inside that will let me remove the whole mess without taking the inner fender out. I think I've located the "emboss" I'm supposed to drill through, but will post a picture of it first to make sure.

    Slow small steps . . .

As has been mentioned, when you get it ready to run, just be careful with your tune, detonation can/will push the crank right outta the block, Its happened to quite a few boosted V6's.
Its not from any weakness in the block, its that detonation from excessive boost, not enough octane, wrong timing, is death to any boosted engine.
Detonation on a N/A engine will just hurt bearings.
    Good luck, keep us posted:cool:

I ran a stock 71 350 with a poston 114 cam & the mark burton original twin turbo kit, with log manifolds. I kicked the ***** out of it for 3 years & the old motor had 182,000 miles on it..... Best eta in the 1/8th was 8.06, 89.65 mph with a horrible 60 foot @ 1.979. New set up is a stroked 350 to 369, nascar take out rods, forged pistons, ta roller rockers. It is a total beast now. Took it out for a final test & tune before last track day, but broke the driveshaft..... so no track results yet. Winter project is to install the ported heads I acquired(thanks Sean) & really see what this beast will do or break next :)! Good luck with the install, if you have any questions, just ask.
