Especially for those of you in Denver area, Kenny Nissen was well known in the Buick Community. A Heart Attack took his life a few weeks ago, September 24th at the age of 78. I had the pleasure of dealing with Kenny462 for many, many years. I am confident quite a few parts on his GS Tribute were from me... More than once over the past 12-15 years or so, Kenny and his sweet wife drove from their Aurora CO home nearby to my relatives home in Lakewood CO, to meet up with me as I unloaded parts I had packed in my suitcase. (he would joke over the fact that I would fly all the way to Colorado to deliver Buick parts, just to save on shipping!!) Kenny was Buick passionate, savy, knowledgeable in parts and he and I embarked on 'console restorations' for the past few years. On a further note, I will be assisting his Son, Kenny, with inventory, compiling details of his well loved Buick and a collection of parts (soon to be listed on this forum) to help with the Family's unexpected mounting financial expenses. Stay tuned. RIP Kenny, you will most certainly be missed. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Didn't know him personally, but he sure seemed like a nice guy on here. My condolences for you, his other friends, and especially his family.
I sold him some parts a while back (and might have bought some too, can't remember). I'm very sad to hear this, he seemed like a genuinely good guy and really loved his Buick.
Like Wheelz,I also had many transactions with Kenny.I will say a prayer for him.I also talked a few times with his son.Very nice person,I will miss him.Bruno.
I had the great pleasure of knowing Kenny for several years. During that period of time, I sold many Skylark parts to him, to be used on his Skylark GS Tribute. I will truly miss the telephone conversations He and I shared, talking about anything related to our Buicks. My condolences to his family.
Like others have said I never met Kenny but did have numerous occasions to interact with him and he was definitely passionate about Buicks!! So sorry that we’ve lost another member of the V-8 Buick family. Praying for peace, comfort and strength for his family members and loved ones.
Man, so sorry to hear. I have talked with him a few times on the phone, very nice person. May Kenny and Wife RIP.
Oh no.....this is very sad news. Kenny was a great Buick Guy....he sold me some great parts over the years. He was certainly one of the Best. RIP my friend. Dan
