Need to replace bearing between axle/differential (not a posi, 73 Riviera) due to a major oil leak.... Got an AC Delco oil seal here: 112304975.... 292-42.....4760M7... Is that the right seal?? If not ..... where does it belong? Which one do I need??

    Cheers :beer

You are talking about the axle bearing, yes? You do know that its a pressed on bearing and that requires a hydraulic press to remove and install? Make sure you have a new retaining ring as well and make sure you have the right seal. If the parts person doesn't know buicks, he can easily give you a c-clip style axle seal. And if you don't know how to remove the axle, a slidehammer is the best way but if you don't have access, reversing the drum, and some tape on the studs to protect the threads can act a crude slide hammer to pop out the axle.
