all, Reverse light stopped working on my 72. Upon further inspection, noticed that pigtail contact was broken. Weird thing is, the reverse light bulb pigtail had 2 contacts and had an 1157 bulb in it. Even more weird is that there is only 2 wires coming off pigtail. Thought the reverse lights on our cars used single contact with an 1156 bulb? Next question. Anyone have a pigtail they are interested in selling?
Weird, I also thought the reverse bulb was a 1156?! Strange story, my daughters Hyuandi goes through bulbs like crazy. She got pulled over for a brake light out and called me for help. I looked up the required bulb and it was a 1157!? On a 2011, I have quite a stash of those!
Someone must have changed the socket.................or, when the car was built, someone at the factory screwed up.
Stranger thing is, having an 1157 pigtail with only 2 wires. Troy, Are you talking the entire harness? I really don't need the entire harness; just the pigtail that I can wire in.
Yes, entire harness. I would not want to cut this pigtail from an entire rear light harness, sorry! Troy
