[Found] Retainer clip for drivers side mirror adjustment knob.

Would anyone have a clip that holds the adjustment knob in place for the drivers side outside mirror? For clarification, I have the "joy stick", just need the clip, or O'ring, or whatever that holds it into place. Painter lost it in the process of tear down.

Are you sure its not a set screw?

 

As I remember early, 64/7 had set screws, later had metal wire C clip and later had a plastic clip, I will look, for one but not sure I have one, what year is the car or mirror?

 

Mine is a 1969 GS 400. What year is yours?

 

As I remember, my 69 GS has the metal C clip.

 

It is a 70 GS.

It looks like the "C" clip is included with the eBay item. Look closely.
