Tom Daschle said that as long as Democrats had power there would be no drilling for oil in Alaska. Well................let the drillng begin and let's stop using middle eastern oil ASAP!

I must agree!!! I don't like the idea of being dependant on a bunch of backstabbers for a valuable resource when we can safely and cleanly get our own. They can keep their G_d D_mb oil. I have no sympathy for them if that particular nation (all of it ) goes poor!!!  BTW what should be done with Osama's Son now that he's in custody??? I know what I would do! :blast: :blast: :blast: :blast: :blast: :blast:

    HA HAAA!
Even the state of Minnesota, the state where nothing is allowed, got a Republican Governor and a Republican Senator to balance out the other liberal Senator, Mark Dayton.
I'll leave it at that. :Comp:
    I'm gonna miss Jesse though.

  4. No, that would be ND...

Are you serious?? Surely you jest!
For a time, I had SOME respect for Jesse the Brain(less), but that evaporated long ago.

Well, granted he has done and said some things that don't speak well of his intellect.
And has gone over the top to many times.
And of course the world does revolve around him you know. :moonu: ME ME ME ME.
I've never felt embarrased by him as a Minnesotan. I doubt the rest of the country gives a rip.

But at the same time the local media really did dog him unfairly I beleive, from the get go.
I just enjoyed the fact that when he got elected he pissed all the suits off.
And continued to do so for the past 4 years.

I guess I'll miss his antics is what I am trying to say.

Dale, I agree! The ultra-liberal media here hated that the people elected him. So the campaign to smear him was in force from the first day he took office. Now, he is a shameless self promoter, so they jumped all over him for that and he should have had some self control. But I'm going to miss him too. Back to politics as usual.

But I'm very pleased that sanity won out yesterday and the people turned away the liberal freak show.

Mark, You know as well as I do that Jesse stole the job that Skip Humphrey felt he was entitled to. (For those not familiar, Skip is former Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey's son)
After Skip won the tobacco lawsuit as the state's Attorney General, I pictured all his lawyer buddies patting him on the back saying, "Governor Humphrey, yes sir your definately going to be the next Governor."
    Little did he know.......
Oh well, back to politics as usual.
