I am going to start on the front end of my 67 wagon which includes dropping in a 455 with a 200r4. While I'm at it, I plan to redo the suspension, clean up the firewall, paint the frame, etc. I know several folks have done this to their cars. My question is, is it possible to remove the front clip intact, ie fenders, core support, etc or not? The reason I ask is I saw a car that had been done that way, the whole front was off intact, even the grill and headlights were still mounted. I want to say it was a mid 60's 442, but I'm guessing. And no it was not a glass front end with clips! Any how, is this a bad idea?

Easy job. Take all the bolts out at the rear of the fenders, unplug the forward wiring harness and remove the two front core support mount bolts.

That's it unless there are actually lines or other odds and ends like cooler lines for the trans, rad hoses and such.
