    Bruce, my father and uncle were friends.

    Bruce also told Garlits about my uncle's transmission. Garlits contacted my uncle who sold him the prototype, as it was all he had at the time, having just sold the "first commercial" unit to Don Prudhomme .

    RIP Bruce. Your in good company.

    And while you may think it's thunder when the storms roll up, I think it's a bunch of those old guys, coming up with more ways to turn out power and noise under the cover of clouds.

    Too bad. We are losing a lot of the great pioneers. I loved the Crower cam I had in a 383 back in the late 70’s.

    Yes we are losing good dudes
    I gotta go visit Jim Wagner's before he goes
    He is in an old folks home towards San Diego
    I use to sit with him and listen to his old stories years ago while at the local Pontiac shows. Talk about just soaking it all in great dude. Plus I think he liked my old lady which was fine with me. Shoot he is a legend in my book.
