Reliable body shop in the Dallas area?

The 72 Skylark was last painted in 1987. It has held up well, but it is time for a redo. There is some rust, and the fender gaps have never been right. I am not looking for a show quality job, since I drive the car a lot. I do want a nice presentable job, and I am OK with paying for quality. Does anyone know if a b\ody shop in the Dallas/ Forth Worth area I can trust with the car? This car has a lot of sentimental value to me, and I want to be sure it is painted correctly.

    Thanks in advance.

Kansas isn't that far away, Mike Garrison has a good rep here.

Go see Advantage Autoworks in North Richland Hills http://www.advantageautoworks.com/

Two brothers, Chris and Todd Recker started in 1990 and have built a hell of a reputation for quality work and fair pricing. I have had them work on both collison damage and more important three of my classics including the 1967 GS400 coupe and the 1967 GS400 convertible recently. They did a complete stripping, body work and repaint of a 1970 Chevelle SS I had and it was stunning. They could do a nice but not 400 point show quality paint job for you.

If you call or go by, ask for Chris and mention Chuck Nixon sent you. Not sure you would get any reduction in cost but it is always nice to say someone recommended a shop.

    Good luck

I'll second that. Mine is getting done there right now. Mike (RACEBUICKS here on V8Buick) knows his stuff. Check out his webpage www.mrbuick.com then find the link there to his Facebook page to see a lot of pics of his work.
