Guys (gals?), Who is coming to BG to race in RM? Hoping to get my car together by then; Should be able to. Looking forward to seeing some familiar, and new, faces in this class. Ramin
When are you leaving? A crew of 3-4 cars will be leaving from Lafayette around 5pm on Wednesday. Do you know Mark (can't remember his last name, 1979-1980 Tan Regal, from Chicago)? Will he be going? I went in 2005 and didn't see him there, but missed 2006 due to work.
Yes i know Mark he still has the regal but now races a 69 skylark. We usually leave early wendsday morning and show up in BG around 3pm .
I'll be there watching you guys. My Regal will be a 1/8 mile car when I put the motor in it. Good luck to everyone.
I didn't know his car was sold. That is one really nice ride you've got yourself there. Congrats! .......still don't know ya, but I'll see you (and your tail-lights) in BG!
wish i could go play with you boys, cant get off that weekend. maybe ill get to meet some of you at norwalk this year. they need to institute the regal modified class there too.
Can you have ladder bars in RM? If so I might play. Trying for 2nd super 16 BB qualifying for sure thou.:3gears:
Car can't be back-halved, and if I remember had to be stock suspension. But that being said, there was one guys in 2001 and another on 2002 running ladder bars and none of us said anything. It was just too much fun having a bunch of V8 Regals together to race. One of the guys had nitrous the first year too! None of 'em made it to the finals though.
When is BG and what is the class RM? I doubt I'll have the ducks in a row yet.... the heads are still out for porting...............................................................
