    Hello,
Im owner Riv 73 from Belarus, my cars restored slowly, few days ago AC system refilled with R12 freon, compressor kick on, but dont kick off, have freeze on low pressure tube, attached picture.
Thermal limiter was broke, use some wire to jump contacts, but i dont think thats a reason always running compressor.

That's normal if it's a POA system. They don't cycle.

73 Riv would be a VIR , ( Valve In Receiver System ) They do not cycle . Is it Cold ?? The Thermal Limiter is just a fuse to protect the compressor . People were not smart enough to turn the AC off if it got low on Freon and started to blow warm air . To protect the compressor the factory used the Thermal Limiter

It is not unusual to see frost on the AC tubes and lines . And yes that system does not cycle .

BTW, a VIR system works on the same principle as a POA. The just cut cost by combining the expansion valve a POA valve into one unit.
