Ok, gonna try this again. Here is the first pic of Mr G's cluster. He does not carry a lot of Buick stuff so good chance what you send in and what you get back will be the same unit.

I don't know who Jim's vendor was, but I have used this guy and the quality is first rate.

    He's located in Madison, WI.

It is hard to tell in the picture, with all that shiny chrome, but it looks like the lip around the woodgrain is not painted black, as it should be

Was very dissatisfied with Mr G's, the only time I used them. I've always been a VERY discerning individual, & when I provide #1 condition cores, I expect to get them back, not repaired, then vac metalized pieces! Best course of action, I could think of at the time was to buy up (pull) every nice LeMans & even one '69 Bird dash bezel that was on Elliot Reeder Rd... no cheap bezel cores right out Mr G's door:moonu:

Also have used two whls individuals in the DFW area just to replate bezels, vent balls, & ventball registers. One, CJ, was big on replating P/U bezels (this was before they were repopped). Wish he was still in the area. Lastly, quite a while back, used Gary's up in Michigan on some '69 GTO dash pieces... good service at the time, not sure if still in the biz.

    Thanks bunches!
I talked to a guy yesterday who wanted $265 just to replate the dash bezel without detailing. The radio bezel was going to be another $100! I appreciate your help in saving my school a ton o' cash! :TU:

Thanks Randy, I have all mint parts to use as cores and as I posted earlier switching out my parts is not an option and I hear a lot of problems in this area with Mr.G, AL.

    Al,

Did you ever send your bezel in? Just wondering how it turned out?

My parts are at CV's right now and have been since October. Their Vacuum Plating machine broke down, I was told. Seems they are trying to get it right.........I'll post pics when I get my parts back. Someday.......
