Also you will save a lot of $ if you can take your bumpers to a large swap meet in your area, exchange them or give them a couple of months to work on them and pick them up at the next show. The shipping costs on bumpers is outrageous today!

I tried my 68 bumper for the very first time this week after 12 year + in the shed !!!

At first look it look like it's not quite ready to send to chrome yet ...

I know there is some adjustment that can be made on the end of the frame end .

My question is : Do you think after seeing those pictures that I can adjust it to fit only with the frame adjustment ???

If yes I'll prolly need to drill the sloted adjust holes on one side since is actually at his highest point

    Thank you

I replaced my front 72s front bumper with a nice looking driver quality job and wound up with the same problem. That's a lot of weird shaped steel that gets sprung and is a bear to straighten. I bolted mine up TIGHT on the passenger side and the used a floor jack and some long wrecking bars to position the drivers side until it looked pretty decent.
The main problem with straightening is holding it down and the force to tweek it. Ive used 4x4s on the ends and a floor jack to raise/lower my truck to achieve the goal. Take lotsa measurements, and you have to account for "spring back", meaning you may hafta overcorrect to have it come back where you want it. Hope this helps! ws
