would appreciate thoughts on reasonable labor costs to install a front disk brake conversion on 70 GS455. I have parts from in-line including new master and booster.
    thanks

I did it myself with a similair kit. Was actually pretty easy and all said and done probably took me 5 or 6 hours including running all new brake lines, front and rear. No idea of cost but migjt help with time. Make sure you receive the proper proportioning vaklve foe front discs and rear drum.

$250 would be what I would charge, more if the the brake lines act stupid

Good service work costs $100.00 + per hour, and there will be an upcharge from that and maybe no warranty because of customer-supplied parts. The shop needs to make 25% or so on the parts too, and that skews the process.

In the Bay Area, most ASE shops charge $120-150/hour, plus cost of parts.
