    BK455- Rest In Peace

I have read in two different articles that, all A-body 10 and 12 bolt rears 64-72 are interchangeable. I am looking to put a 70 12 bolt in a 67 car. It is frame off, and i have the 12 bolt bolted in using the 67 upper control arms. I believe i need to have the drive shaft shortened. Has anyone done this swap and is there anything else i need to know? Are the 70-72 shocks going to be too short, and am i going to have any problem with pinion angle? Any other problems? I appreciate any help i can get with this. I have a perfect 12 bolt all set up for another project that has changed now and really don't want to spend the money on redoing the 67 rear.

    Thanx,

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

The 70 will fit. It will be 1" wider than the 65-7 rears. They will all interchange so you have no pinion angle problems. When going from a 10 bolt BOP rear to a Chevy 12 bolt rear, you will need the NEAPCO 3-3130 rear u-joint.
