A two part question. How wide and how long was the rubber dust shield that goes across the rear of the car on a 1970 GS? Where are the two 4 x 6 rubber blocks positioned and how are they held in place? I am afraid I am going to post a lot of questions as my car goes back together. Despite the notes and pictures I did not capture enough detail.

1970 blocks are a bit different looking than 71-72. There is an exact measurement for 1970 in the Assembly manual. Typically, they go closer than Kaule shows, over that notch (or closer), you can see where the paint is lighter. Sometimes you have to move them to get the bumper to fit closer. They just kind of clip on in the slot.
