Hey guys. Going to be putting a new rear axle in & I'm going to be putting new upper & lower(boxed) control arms in.

My question is this does anyone know a Moog part number for the bushings that go directly into the axle for the upper control arms? I see a lot of rear control arm bushings but new arms will come with those.

So I just need to get the correct upper control arm bushings where they connect to the axle.

    Thanks,

    Kyle

What's your plans for the car? Reason I ask is there better options than the rubber

Mainly a cruiser & very rare trips to the strip. Gong from a 350 to mildly built 455. Changing from a 3.08 peg-leg to a 3.42 Detroit Tru-Trac posi.

Have F41 braces, getting boxed lower control arms & 1" sway bar.

If the new arms have urethane bushings, you should put matching urethane bushings in the housing ears. If they are OEM style rubber, then put the rubber ones in. Just buzz through the ears with a sanding drum or emery cloth,to remove any paint. The bushings are a press-fit,and are tight enough without anything else adding to it. Putting the bushing in the freezer doesn’t hurt either.

Thanks Brian. I just need to know the correct bushing for the ears.

Seems like they may call it an axle housing bushing.

Pretty sure they are the same as the arm bushings

All of the bushings forbthe rear control arms are the same,so yes,the ones in the ears are the same part number.
