Hi, i have my serpentine setup all completed and just thought i'd pass on some info on how i did it.

I first bought a used crank and water pump pulley from an 86 GN($35). Next i bought an alternator from an 86 Camaro with 350 and 6 rib pulley($70). Then the wire harness can be purchased for 2.99 from AZ. I also bought a water pump for an 85 regal with 3.8 to get the proper spacing for the pulley alignment($32). Next i made some 3/4" spacers to space the alternator bracket out to align the alt pulley to the rest of the pulleys. Then i took a piece of rope and wrapped it around the pulleys to find the correct length pulley.

I'm not using a power steering pump or AC so this was easy to piece together.
Also the crank pulley is about an inch bigger in diameter and all the rest is the same.

Pics to come in the near future.

That is pretty cool, but the stock type parts should work fine for the 350.

Over the last few weeks I have been modifying the serp on my 4.6 Rover, managed to get rid of the AirCon, Power Steering, and Emissions pumps, also fitted a much smaller alternator as I dont run anything big power wise other than a Fuel pump and ECU, and the obvious lights and wipers, so I have no problem running a 55amp alternator. I have roughed out what the belt run is and have now made all the brackets,
    but heres the idea,-----
Bottom pulley, waterpump are factory, top idler is off a Zetec and the alternator is off a low spec Toyota
