For a car with no engine or trans that is amazing that its up so high.
Though not really as fully restored I bet its probably a near 200K car to the purist who will put it under glass.

Here's a family picture of the two previously known SD Tempest/Lemans:

In the previous economy, the coupe (Delorean's car) sold for $500,000 and the wagon (Randy William's car) for $900,000.

You guys are killing me with those pics.:kodak: :TU: Very Very cool! I saw one of the SD Wagons( dark blue one) at Englishtown for a show I think it was last year or year before and I watched and heard it pull in with the open headers singing just awesome!

If the engine and aluminum front clip are located (as indicated by the comments on eBay and here), but they are in the hands of different peoples who know what they each have while waiting for this car to surface ... it will be quite interesting how all these parts get reunited because that will increase the value even more.

Oh you know they are doing some haggling on the rest of the right parts as I type. Be cool if the whole deal ends up on TV.

Yep - amazingly worth way more than this LeMans.

I'd rather have the LeMans though. Too bad Buick didn't have something like the Pontiac done with the Skylark/Special body.

Wonder if the winner will send the $100.00 by Pay Pal to secure the action as listed in the terms? Crazy money for this car but I'm glad for the guy/guys that sold the car. I don't know who they are but it sounds like a Victory for the little guys for once, who knows?:pp :pp
