Raising a car with 3” exhaust and an x pipe

    That is what I do but a 30” tall slick does not come out of the wheel well unless you drop the axle some, so that is why I was trying to ask what others do besides putting stands under the frame also or if they put the car on a 2 post lift.

    Yes I do that, I was looking for a simple solution which looks like nobody else has ever had this problem.

    I don't have a 3" exhaust on my car, but it is 2 1/2 with an x-pipe, but I don't think it hits. I would think if your rear end can't cycle through the full range without hitting your exhaust, then your exhaust is mounted wrong. The x-pipe should be further forward, IMO.

    Sometimes when we just needed a little extra clearance to install or remove a tire/wheel, we just let the air out,then reinflated. Could gain an easy 1/2"-1".
