I was gonna put my newly-recalibrated Q-Jet on the 2NABOT Friday, but it was raining sideways all day long, so I got to do it Saturday, then give the car a much-needed bath. So all in all, I'm happy with my weekend! :Smarty:

Looking forward to the 5th! Just need to keep the neighbor's cat off the 2NABOT in the meanwhile... :blast:

Well, it sucked getting rained out for sure. My buddy and I were hanging out at my house Friday nite waiting to go to Waco Saturday morning when I found out it was cancelled. We starting drinking and b-s ing when the tornado sirens went in my neiborhood. Fortunetly my house was spared and so were my cars. Some of the other neihbors were not as lucky. They say it was a F1 Tornado that hit Wylie. The point is, they weather sucked and things could have have been realy bad. The storm that hit my house came from the south (Waco).

Hey Y'all...New to the board here,

I've got a 66 Olds Cutlass with a 425 big block and I'm coming from Ft. Worth to the showdown this weekend in Prairie Hill! Heard about it last year on Realoldspower.com from Napier, etc. and I'm coming back!

Lots of the guys on ROP are happy to have a group like y'all to race with, and hopefully this year will be even more fun than Temple was....Didn't meet many of y'all cause we got there so late in the afternoon, but this time will be great.

Gates opening at 8? We the only one's on the track for this makeup date, or is it a mixed batch now that it's been rescheduled?

    Lookin forward to it guys!:3gears:

I'll be loading the car and stuff, but fajitas are so easy it just takes a minute to get ready. The grill is still loaded with wood from last time.

QuadQuad will have to take up the slack for the Olds crew.

    See yall next go around.

Anyone going to the Hill Country Street Rods event the following weekend in Temple? Maybe I will see you there.
