Tried searching on this, but could not find anything. Whats the difference between the R44TS plug and a 44TS plug. I think both are the same heat range and have the longer nose. So whats the difference?

The "R" is for resistor. The resistor is for radio noise suppression

Maybe not any more with today's tech, but it was illegal to run non resistor plugs on the street or trail! Ask me how I know. Non resistor plugs would interfere with radio broadcasts as in in police communications. As a kid in the late 1970's, not knowing I had gotten pulled over on my sled because of this. Cop knew right away I had those bad illegal spark plugs in my sled. Let me off with a warning:).
And another thing. Being in the rec business a while back. There would be some late Model computer controlled sleds that would come in from time to time not running right at all. Sometimes it would be the customer installed non resistor plugs and it would screw up the computer controls.

Neighbor used to tell me that he knew when we were going to the Strip, or if we didn't do well by the problems he had with TV reception when we came home.

that was my go to ignition wire in the 70s, I saw summit is selling a modern 7mm, orange wire under there house brand, that reminds me of my old Packard 440s, I bought a set for my 70gs, since its all old and day one looking under the hood!

Being from Youngstown, Ohio we used to buy Rolls of the 440 from Packard Electric, through friends that worked there. Wish I still had a few just for GP. If I dug deep enough, there may still be a roll in one of my Brother's garages, but getting through them is like Herding Cats & probably More Dangerous!
