Its just like making a chevy fast. You need gearing to get the job done.
Without the right gearing its a lost cause.

I got the 7SP mega range 11-34 cassette. Special extra long Deore LX 22-33-44 cranks. Buddy has the older 9-34. [And he bolted on an extra 38. There was room.]

The only time he gets an advantage is going up steep hills. My 70 extra LBs makes it hard to keep the front wheel down. I tend to torque my self over. But if the wheel would stick, I could climb straight up a wall.

And I can only speculate from the speed of the cars. Everyone does a constant 25 down Main Street in Walbridge. 26 is an instant ticket.

I only need to pedal 6-7 MPH which anyone can do. What you need is the leg strength to pedal that gearing. And if the chain didn't skip and pop under the load in high gear. I know I could go much faster.

Don't underestimate my crazy legs or my Buick. Both will surprise you...

Neat, is the board acting funny for anyone else?

I had to log in and out 3 times to be allowed to reply to a post.
And then it ended up as a new post.

and now the original post is gone?

    So confused.

Are you equating yourself with a chevy? :Brow:
    Sorry, couldn't resist.
