I curently have mildly built buick 350. Topped with an Edelbrock 750 cfm carb. I'm looking into a nitrous kit for when I take it to the track. However every kit I run into specifies that they are made for holley carbs, or quadrajets. Should I be concerned? And on another note, the spary bar goes under the carb doesnt it?

    Hi Guys,

The Holley is also known as a "square-bore" (meaning all four throttle plates are the same size) and the Q-Jet is a "spread-bore" (meaning the secondary throttle blades are bigger than the primary plates are).

Hope this helps to clarify for you......:)

    NOS Sniper Kit

NOS makes a Sniper kit for the Q-jet ... I bought one for my Semi-built 350. It has jets for 125, 150 and 175 HP shots. Watch Ebay for some good deals .. around 350 to $375, that is where I bought mine.

Thanks for the replies. I guess my only other question is, are the Edelbrock performer carbs sqare bore like the holley? I know I probably should have bought one of the new Edelbrock Q-Jets, but I wasnt that smart 4 months ago :)
