Going to be a hard item to find....4 speed carbs are very rare.

It took me over 20 years until I located a correct numbered 4 speed carb for my 73 GS. They only made 365 4 speeds in 73 and less than 200 were 350's. Keep an eye out and one will pop up when you least expect it.Even though mine is dated a little later than my car,I really don't care. I also have the original 350 matching numbered motor for the car.

'70 Riv also had an odd last digit 750 CFM Q-Jet. 7040247.
Not what you want but how many folks realize the Riv. came with what appears to some as a 4 speed carb.?
A good rebuilder could jet it & make the performance identical to the 245.
I'm thinking the fast idle cam will be easier to find than the whole carb..

I have a NOS 7043245 carb but as you know, this would be for a 73 350 manual transmission car.

I could have used that awhile back..Out of curiosity, would you know what the date numbers would be by the 7043245??Just wondered about how close to my car it would be?

You know, I think you're right, Doug! My Stage 1 carb on the shelf is 0150 and I have to think about which 0 is the year!!

Ohhhhh... with that info now,it's only worth scrap price.... lol As far as I know,I have one of the only 2 73 GS 350 4 speeds left in existence. No one has ever came forth with any info for another one. Not sure whatever happened to Jason Cooks old brown one and where it went.Thats the carb and motor I currently have. Mine is stamped LE 2242 which is early for mine, but you have to take what's given. If I remember correctly, Doug or Gary have another 73 4 speed main body...

Try Jim McGowan (I think the spelling is right) "The Quad Shop" Rockford,IL.
He might have a rebuild able core :Do No:
