Amen to 442w30, these type attitudes only enable and build up those that feel they can play on those under them. No wonder workplace sexual harassment is so bad, you can see by the attitudes that many condone it, not condemn it. Well the pretend to condemn it.

I think Shlepcar's post may have been taken out of context. What I took it as there are those who choose to "hit the couch" with these lecherous bastards, regret it, then put all the blame on the other party. These one-hit (or more) prostitutes are, by no means, comparable to the women who were, and still are, victimized by force by these same creeps. They just make it harder for the real victims to come forward or to get any credibility.

Anyone who abuses their power for self-gratification should be punished to the full extent of the law. They should have nailed the blue dress guy, if not for what he did with a subordinate, at least because of felony misuse of a good cigar. But he got away with it, they did nothing to him. Who paid? The victim, and yes, even if she was willing, she's still a victim, she was used, abused, rode hard and put away wet. The problem is as usual, the first people who are victimized by these people when they finally get caught are the victims. Now in order to get their justice they're forced to relive and rehash the event, and yes, I'm sure there were some people who went along willingly; (the human mind will rationalize and explain even the worst situations to dull the pain) - but that doesn't excuse the fact that these greaseballs put them into a no-win situation to begin with. That's where the real offense is, the fact that these morons went ahead and abused their stature in order to have their way with these women.
What is the other crime is that both of these clowns as well as the blue dress guy did this all in the open; it was one of those open secrets. Really?...what kind of moral code do those people who knew and did nothing really have?
Then there's the fact that at least one of them was an icon for a distinct minority; who he has let down in absolutely abysmal fashion. How many more supposedly "decent" role-models are actually greaseballs in disguise?
It's actually an appalling commentary on modern morals and the lack thereof. Sure, it's been going on forever. Now I expect nothing less from some medieval king, but I expect a hell of a lot more out of a modern role model.
Sorry for the rant, still suffering from jet lag...
