Has anyone used these prothane brand boot covers? They are made of polyurethane an have a longer life span is what they advertise. I put the lower boots on today an they fit really tight over the Moog k5103 lower balljoints. They do not have as much room for the grease it seems like since the fit so snug. I'm going to put on the upper boots on the front control arms tommorow. So what does everybody think, Rubber or polyurethane boots? Thank you

I have not used PROTHANE, But have used Energy Suspension boots on ball joints and steering linkage joints. The ball joint covers seemed VERY tight on the Moog joints sealing the outer area, but work okay by me. Granted this was on a later 86 Buick Regal G-body not a 60's 70's A-body, but I imagine the fitment SHOULD be similar. That was several years ago, and the car doeNOT get used a lot...
