Protect o plate

    20190217_194038.jpg My 69 GS400 has a small metal tag on the upper part of the radiator support. Is it some kind of protect o plate?

    kinda looks like one.
    what i know is
    186 interior color and 57 could be paint G not sure
    RR446 is the engine number
    BA69A520 is the number on the transmission tag passenger side

    32-109 dealership id number
    7-1-69 date of car made im guessing
    466-7381 no clue someone?
    446379K117748 VIN #
    LB rear end
    6 ??
    12 ??
    4 ???
    IF IM WRONG IM SURE SOMEONE HERE WILL CORRECT ME

    RR446 is the engine number
    R =1969
    R = 400-4

    BA69A520 is the number on the transmission tag passenger side
    BA = Buick TH400 in A bodies or in this case GS

    32-109 dealership id number = as stated Al Parker Buick Co. Houston Tx.

    7-1-69 = Customer Delivery date July 1,'69

    466-7381 = Customer Phone Number ( 466 old area code in Tx.)

    dynaflow shiftless...

    ...agree, especially since date is in owner part of info. Mine also has 3-part date on dymo data, and was easy to deduce as delivery, it was 6 months after Build Date.
