The smaller number is the size of the venturi, the plate is the 110 if it says so. We got our motor up and going, had to work on the jet sizing for port 5, has a blarble in the mid throttle, idle not as crisp as I want but I will work on that, no track time yet, but seems very responsive for the little hit I gave it out front.
Went to Cecil Saturday, again with plans of dropping the SV1 on. First run was missing and coughing so I got out of it at half track. I had been planning on changing out the old MSD 7 before but I never got around to it. Hooked up an MSD 6 AL and tried again. Still missing, but not as bad. It was then that I remembered you can't run a Pro Coil with a 6 series box. So I changed the coil to an HD round, oil filled stock style coil. This rewarded me with my best ET yet, 10.085 at 135.84 mph. Had a 60' of 1.416, 330' was 4.136, 1/8 was 6.449 at 106.32. My mindset has been to get what I have now running as good as I can before changing to the SV1. I'm encouraged by the 10.08 and next time out I will definitely bolt on the new carb!
Glad to hear you got your best ets......be nice to hear a back to back when you get the new carb on. My sv1 took some adjustments to idle bleeds and port 5 jet to get idle close to where u wanted it and a smooth mid rpm. Idle could still use some adjustment. You might want to bolt it on b4 going so if you need some adjustments you have them done b4 getting to the track. I've had mine apart about 5 times now changing and drilling the jets
So Bens99gtp, have you gotten any track time/numbers with your SV1? You may have it listed in a thread that I missed, but I'm curious...
Track time hopefully friday, but we changed heads, intake, carb, headers. So I won't have a back to back with just the carb
