My wife's brother is in Critical condition with a Ceptic (I think thats how you say it) heart infection. Things look real bad now. His name is Bob. Bob's probably about fifty years old and has been a hellraser all his life. He actually was in jail when he collapsed. Please pray for healing and if this has to be his finally appearance here, pray for him to call on Jesus. Thank You.
It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done in your life, 50 is too young. My heart is with you and your wife. Harvey
I have too prayed for Bob that God's perfect will and timing to be done in this situation. I pray that the Holy Spirit knock at his door and convict him that he needs the grace of God to receive the free eternal gift of salvation through Jesus Christ the Son and Savior. I will continue to add him to my daily prayer list. Please keep us posted. Could perhaps a family member who is a Christian visit him and show him through God's Holy Word the plan of salvation??
My wife told me late last night that he did except Christ a long time ago. He just can't seem to get out of his rut. Their dad was a real piece of work . Bob was thrown out at sixteen and has had to make due since then. I can't talk with him cause he's still out. Doctors have him sedated. He's got a heart catheter going and breathing tubes in. Anyway, its morning now and we are awaiting word. Thanks for the prayers.
My mother is going through this same thing, though with her Kidneys, right now at the age of 55. She was entirely Septic (that means an infection throughout the entire body) on Tuesday and is now doing much better because of the vigilence of the doctors and constant prayer (and I, personally, was not a very religious person). My prayers to him as well.
Thanks for the continued prayers! Eric, I'll add your Mom to my prayers. Thank you very much for telling us about her going through this and getting better. :TU:
Bob died today. Thanks for all your prayers. My wife says along time ago he accepted Christ. Man, I hope so. I sure did like Bob. Its a shame he couldn't straighten out his life better. I'da liked for him to have been around more. My wifes doing alright I guess. The next few days will be hard for her.
Thinking of you & your family I am sorry to hear Bob didn't recover. I hope things get easier for your family in the days to come.
