A baby boy has been born to my Niece and her husband. I have been an uncle for quite some time, but little Maddox Braden has single-handedly made me a GREAT uncle. He was born somewhat prematurely, and has some problems. The preliminary diagnosis is Pierre Robin syndrome, and he has trouble feeding, and his tongue tends to fall back restricting his airway. He has been transferred to Cincinnati Children's Hospital where he is undergoing assessment by an entire team of specialists. I humbly request prayers on his behalf.

Done Jim. I've got 2 nephews and 3 nieces...all 3 and under. I can appreciate your concern...my 2 youngest nieces are identical twins and one of them needed heart surgery very early on. Doing great now - thank the Lord!!
Thanks for all the prayers. Maddox had successful surgery on his jaw Tuesday, 29 Jan. He had pins installed, and connected to an adjustable brace. Small adjustments of about 1 mm per day will be done until realignment is achieved. This will prevent his tongue from falling back and restricting his airway. Poor little guy will need to be fed via a tube for a while longer. I would have attached a pic, but it is just too difficult to look at. Again, thanks to everyone for the prayers.....IT WORKS !
