I have that hose in my car and it looks nothing like what you have. The end is way shorter and shaped different. Mispackaged possibly?
that NAPA say =29" just doing research on line... rock auto =39" rockauto Alternate Design =22" Autozone = 30.5" i'm also looking for a picture of stock hose routing..
You can see by the first pic the assembly manual shows the hoses turned about 45 degrees to the driver's front corner. The hose you have is different.
Thats a really generic picture/description. The OEM HP hose has a really tight back bent "s" curve in the line to get it to lay on top of the gear box. I searched world wide and found only what you/we both use now. I saved the old hose although the crimp was leaking, and plan on re-using the old pipe and having a new crimp putting it on a new hose. ws
For you guys that struggle with these things, here's my pro tip. This is what a flare nut crows foot wrench is for. You get a 2 0r 3 foot extension, ratchet and crows foot. You do it standing up like a man, it's a mind blower. I learned that from a mechanic like 35 + years ago. That's after struggling with them for 20 years or so!
Same hose, much better. now the hose will not be hit by a broken belt. Sure i wish it was a cleaner look but if the hose is shorter it might carry pump vibrations to the wheel.. Thanks for all the help!!!!
