Can any one point me in the direction for valve cover bolts that will fit a set of Poston valve covers. Buick 350 of course. Also any suggestion and part number for gasket. I did have a set of the chrome ones. Wt cut outs for the taps that hold the gasket in place. Poston set don’t have that set up and bolts i have with flange that pinched down sides won’t fit Poston set either. Thoughts? Suggestion? Thank you

I've been meaning to respond back to you on this I used the mr. gasket oil filler cap and I believe a mr. gasket valve cover breather, these valve covers do not have a baffle so I added a baffle to each side although the Breather side on high RPM does seep some oil out and I have the PCV valve hooked up, I don't know if this will affect it but I do not have a windage tray, I also used ss socket cap bolts with fel-pro valve cover gaskets, I wiped the meeting surfaces absolutely clean with brake cleaner on a rag then assembled I didn't use a sealer and mine sealed just fine. Sorry for the late response. Josh

I used Allen key bolts with small washers... because the poston covers are so stiff no need for the steel spreaders the factory uses on the soft weak flexy stock covers.

Go to the hardware store, 1/4-20 Allen head bolts.

Yup, you can even get stainless if they have them.....take a cover with you. The thread should stick out of cover bottom by 1/2" or so. Don't forget to add the gasket thickness.

I used 1 1/2” Allen head studs with washers, and nylock nuts. It allowed me to use “P”clamps to hold the wire harnesses and oil line neatly.

done...mad pita getting covers to sit while all bolts grabbed small increments at a time. Came out cool, no leaks. Thanks for help folks. Used 1 1/2 alen nut stainless bolts, lock washers. These covers are pretty sweet and legit stiff

I realize this is an older post- but does anyone have a link or item # for the felpro rubber valve cover gaskets for a Buick 350? I'm only finding the cork composite gaskets when searching. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here you go,

    Felpro VS 50034R, 2.10/set:)

    https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=128529&cc=1379684&jsn=463

    Rockauto has them,

    https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...id+v8,1379684,engine,valve+cover+gasket,10710

They are the first one listed.

About 6 months ago, I bought the rubber gaskets for the 455 (Felpro VS50004R). Rockauto had the same wholesaler closeout saying they had 6 sets in stock, so I ordered all 6 of them. When I received the order, all the boxes were marked correctly with the R after the part number. When I opened the package for one, I found cork rubber gaskets. I then opened all 6 packages and found 3 were indeed the rubber gaskets, but the other 3 were cork rubber. Rockauto refunded my money for 3 sets, and told me to keep the gaskets anyway.

If you want the rubber gaskets, I suggest ordering them, but make sure you inspect them when you get them. All my unopened Felpro boxes bore the correct part number but some were mislabeled.
