I can't get a picture to upload. Any suggestions? It has always worked in the past and I am doing nothing different.

Being too large is the most common reason.

Get a free Photobucket account and download your pictures to that. Then it's simply a quick cut and Paste for any size picture you want to post. Like this:

Thank You. I was just picking a random pic to show the OP that you can pop pictures in pretty easy. The car got Best In Show that day out of nearly 100 cars. The wife had to have a pic.

Well, have you tried going thru the steps in your Profile or Settings section to load an avatar?

Click on Settings in the far upper right corner of the screen. Then on the left side of next page, scroll down to the My Settings area and click on the Edit Avatar link. There you can click on the option to use a custom avatar. You can link to it hosted elsewhere, or upload it from your computer. Beware, it has to be a pretty small image. The size restrictions should be presented to you somewhere during the process. You likely need to resize your image.

Looks like I did it. That wasn't too painful.

    Thank you for your help.

You could do that, but you can also bypass the pain in the butt attachment function, as well as size limitations. You simply generate an embed code for the picture on photobucket, then CNTRL V any place in the post. Picture pops right in. I didn't create the account just to post a picture here. I've had the account for years. Makes it much easier to post pictures online.
