That's a start, but calculating frontal area and drag coefficient is what's needed to get some real life expectancy beyond that. More here on some generalities that could get you close if you don't have those figures in hand: http://www.wallaceracing.com/Calculate HP For Speed.php

    Folks,

I thought I made it clear that I was talking about a 2.56 ratio, standard shift. As far as tire diameter, let's go w/ the stock 15"--something like 255-6-15.

I think that top speed should be at least 140 and drag limited somewhere around 150. Let's also assume a hardtop and not a convertible.

You would need ground effects as the car would get air under it and start to get loose at those speeds.

I had 2.56 in my 10sec GS for a trip to BG and hit it once at 80 and very soon the speedo was pointing at the floor and it felt like a gust of wind would blow me away.....and that's with a front and rear spoiler.

Ken, how do you like your TT exhaust? Did it fit well? Can I ask the cost? Your car performs well!

We ran out of time and never got to try the 950. We believe the 830 is maxed out but might have gone 10.9x's on Saturday in BG as the air was ~500' and air temp was in the 50's vs. 900' and temps ~70 F when we ran the 11.12.

I ended up adding a set of Gessler ported Edelbrock heads and a stage 2 hood scoop on a steel hood sealed to the air cleaner. The last trip to the track I ran 11.008, 10.991, 10.988 and 10.963 at 124.72 mph. I drove it to the track, let some air out of the tires, ran and drove home. I let the trans shift itself at just under 6000 rpms. I now have traction issues on the launch that I hope to take car of by next spring and maybe run some 10.70's.:3gears:

I love this exhaust Bob , it tucked up nicely . I had the tips of the tailpipes cut parallel to the ground like the stock system . Sounds great and not too loud , haven't noticed any drone . It cost me $503 shipped from GA to MI .

How about a bump to the top for some new reliable 11/12 second combos. I absolutely love the 2.56 gears and a t350. That's great!
