Just got back from Norwalk Buick Race Day. Great time as usual.... But one of the persons responsible for the new 455 block ask for ideas of future projects. When asked about better breathing heads and a new intake (for the Nailhead), he replied that if enough interest was shown (a commitment from us) they would consider taking the heads and intake on. :jd:
This would certainly be a wonderful turn of events, as this family of engines really needs this type of investment to revitalize it. Many people these days are not aware of the role that the nailhead played in the earlier days of hotrodding and factory performance, and this would clearly bring a whole bunch of pre-wedge motors and cars back into the light of day. One would assume that the sucess or failure of the upcoming V-8 and V-6 projects will influence the future of Buick performance for years to come. Lets keep our fingers crossed and support these vendors who are taking the brave steps necessary to launch these types of projects. Thanks, Rudy E
