Are there any Pontiac or olds forum that are as good as this forum? I keep looking but all I find are ones that redirect u to new car forums or abandon ones.

Ames Pontiac runs a Pontiac forum. Don't know the whole history of it though. Seems to be some traffic there.

A bit of a silly post question and don't want to join a Pontiac forum just to ask..
What did Pontiac actually due to the wide track car's from their late 50's and 60's advertising? Were the front and back of the frames actually wider with even a wider rear axle? Were the A arms and spindles different?
Wouldn't this cause confusion as far a other GM donor and swap parts and how about shared division assembly plants and different parts. Kinda surprised GM let the tooling cost's increase if it did any.
Did some googling and found a Canadian built Pontiac but since Canadian built they are basicly Chevy frames and the Pontiac style wider body really showed how the rear tires were no were close to the quarter panels and really funny being so far in..
