Plug gap

    Converted distributor to Pertronix, stock engine (70 455), should/does plug gap need to be change from .030?

    Without looking, I think stock is .032, although most do .035. The factory spec was a bit small to allow for wear if maintenance on the car was poor. I think my Pertronix cars are at .040. I would definitely open them a little.

    Went to .040 on mine as well. I'm running the Lectric Limited breakerless ignition.
