How come you can get chrome valve covers for EVERY American V8 engine made since 1967 (including friggin Caddilac) but none for BBB??? I can get aluminum ones that don't fit under the ac bracket without mods. I can get reconditioned chrome steel for the price of 2 sets of aluminum but not a decent pair of good ol' plain chrome.... Hell, our valve covers don't even HAVE baffels in them!!!

    stepping down from soap box....

HMmm.....well this is a stretch but.....

They say, "If it Dont Go, Chrome it !!"

.....So, maybe knowin' our Buicks Go !! they dont bother making them ???

Conversely....I bet they make 31 different flavors of Valve Covers for the 305" :D

    Ken:

Aren't the painted 455 vave covers and the Stage 1 the same part number? You can just have a painted set chromed or I believe TA sells them. I think they get theirs by just having stock 455 covers chromed.
