I am seriously thinking about converting my '72 Stage 1 Replica to disc brakes and while I'm at it, I'd re-build the steering mechanism, too. I assume that the pitman arm is specific to manual vs power steering. My car is a manual steering car. Anyone with experience with the pitman arm from Proforged that I have in the link?

Any help/advice you can give would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

The pitman arm is a non wear item. So no need to replace it unless your switching to power steering

That's good to know, thanks, Jason. Everything else should be fair game, right? Drag link, idler, tie rods, etc.

Depending on miles the idler arm is almost always worn. The drag link you can check, same with tie rods. Lower ball joints are the second most worn item, followed by upper A-arm bushings in my opinion.
