it is easier to link to say a photo bucket layout. If you load them straight on to this site then I expect the issue is you have not resized the pics and they are too big.

    Paul really looking good.
I like the creativity you are showing with your project.
We are using a mechanical injector assembly from Hilborn on our turbo setup (race only).
    Keep up the great work.

Very cool rear mount turbo setup. What made you decide to put it back there? Looks like there is enough room in the engine bay for it.

    Aweseom project!:TU:

i like the look of the nailhead and i really want to keep the engine compartment as simple and clean as possiable. i would have had it on the pass side and it would have worked but i wanted to build something a little different. Everyone turbo's or supercharges chevy's and ford's, i just thought a mid mount turbo on a nailhead would really make things interesting and help that 401 breath a lil better. i have a 500 hp sbc 406 for my 53 truck, but so does every other guy. Every part in that driveline is new and the motor is right around 9.5 to1 compression and hopefully when the whole car is done(paint and final cleaning and touch ups) it will be a great driver that represent the potential of the nailhead. i am tuning the setup with fast dual wideband o2 sensors welded right after the full length headers so i hope this motor will make into the 550ft tq and hopefully 450 hp. i will have it dyno when it is ready. i hope to have some videos of the car in the next month if we can get rid of the snow and rain everyday.
    Thanks again

was working on the car last night and i thought i had two identical 401 intakes. i bought one off of ebay a while back and sent it off to be powdercoated and i was about to put it on last night with the finned valley pan and saw thier is only two vacuum ports on the back and the runners look to be different. ofcorse they are both dual planes and the ports are all the same but the placement of the runners on the intake are diffeent between intakes. Also, one has two vacuum ports the other has 3, one has a tear drop next to the carb flange the other one doeant and where the coil bolt ups one has a spot for it and the other one doesnt. i left the casting numbers at home but will post them later on today. any suggestion. same intake is one from a 425 and the other a 401. I think it is time for a air gap on the nailhead. thanks

Cool!:TU: -but it's against the law to have the driver's side '66 valve cover backwards on the pass side:Brow:
