Can someone post pics and the measurements/sizes of the studs used to mount a 72 GS grille? Also.....I recall that the studs for some year skylark grilles were larger than the GS studs and would crack the GS grille mount. Is 72 one of those years? Thanks Alan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
As I recall, I used four 2 inch studs (measured from end to end). Two in the middle, and one on the bottom of each side. On the top of each side I used a 3 inch stud. So four 2 inch studs and two 3 inch studs should work. Mine grille sits perfectly with this combination. The Skylark Custom pot metal grille had 4 inch studs that are too long. Hope this helps! If you had a Custom grille on it, I believe you had two 2 inch studs and four 4 inch studs (going by memory!)
