Does anyone have a pic of a 70 gs with the G78-14 tires that came from the factory..also how many of you guys had hubcaps as an option on the 70 gs. Have a good day..
According to my Wayne Roberts docs, my car was built with chrome 14" sport wheels, but it had Deluxe Wheel Covers on it when I bought it in 1983, and have kept it that way.
Wow nice ...there is a car I am going to go look at next week and it was ordered with the hubcaps..he now has Buick chrome wheels on it..but he does have the original hubcaps.
Attached are a couple pics of my no option 70 GS 455 4 speed car that was ordered with NO wheel or tire option. Thus, it has standard no cost 14 x 6 painted steel wheel with G78-14 blackwall polyglas tires. All wheels are correct and original to this car plus front tires G78-14 , rear tires are not original.
I knew of a 70 Stage 1, that was a demo car from Bauer Buick in Costa Mesa. The car was an all Aqua Mist, bench seat, Stage 1 with deluxe hub caps, going by it looked just like any Skylark.....
