Anybody have any tips or know of products to help bring back the luster and shine of oil paint?

I was reading about Penetrol in a thread earlier.

Kevin "Junkyard Digs" found an Oldsmobile that was stored for 33 years.
His dad is bringing the shine back in this episode:

    CRAZY Paint Revival!
First Polish After 33 YEARS in Storage!

Today we set to work on bringing this classic one owner car back to the way it was over four decades ago!

I've watched^^^all the episodes on that car, I don't want to spoil it for others but it's definitely worth the watch.

Haven't really stumbled into Turnin Rust/Restored yet but I did watch that episode you mentioned above^^. My youtube list is full of car stuff, it just keeps cramming more and more car related stuff on my main page and I love it!

i am building a LS swapped 72 (70 conversion) 20200927_174717.jpg 20200927_174753.jpg Lark right now . The Article is in the PRO TOURING Section and it is a Patina car.
I am telling you guys, PENETROL is your friend for a Patina/RatRod car.
it seals the rust, and levels the surface like a clear coat. it protects and looks great . 9$ for a bottle and it lasts forever.
I wetsanded the car with 1200grid completly and applied penetrol with a sponge. 2 coats & 24hr dry time each. now it will get a nice clean and wax with a buffer once the car is ready to roll out of the shop.

Alex rebuilds wasmy favorite at one point but his videos are so short now and half the time he's talking about his sponsors or the missing parts he forgot to order, not much actual car stuff anymore. Goonzquad is alright but they're annoying as f**k, I couldn't stand to hear dang son or dude anymore so I'll watch their videos on mute lol

Maybe we should create a YouTube thread, I will remove my links from this post because the original question is "snowed under" now :)
