When you wax your car/truck/tractor/motorcycle or other which do you use?
Do you rub it in till it thins or do you rub it a bit and leave a thick layer to haze over?

Do you apply it by hand being carefull to keep it off rubber or plastic parts?

Or do you use a machne buffer to apply it and a change of heads to buff it out after?

I use a paste cleaner wax combo, apply it by hand being carefull to keep it off the rubber and plastic parts as recommended. Allow it to haze over then buff with lint free micro fiber cloth or terry towels.

Only do the truck twice a year. spring to clean any residue of winter and in the fall to apply a protector coat for winter.

The Buick gets it once in the spring then a detailer (lucas slick mist) is used at every car show.
Normally once a week but this year with all the rain we are not doing many shows.

I've been using Simoniz in the paste/small tin can for years.

Mequiar’s cleaner wax in liquid. Last about 3mo. I like the NXT 2.0 as well, liquid. It was a free bottle so I tired it. Nice shine but how long it lasts don’t know.

I use Meguiar's liquid on the regular cars, Wizards liquid on the good stuff. On the flat surfaces like hood, roof, and trunk I'll squeeze a few ribbons of wax then rub them in with a micro-fiber. On the sides, I put the wax on the micro-fiber and dab it every now and then, and I'll wax the fender, then the door, then the quarter. By the time I'm done rubbing the quarter, the fender is ready to have the wax removed. By the time I've got it removed from the fender, the door is ready, and so on. I can wax one of the cars in under 1/2 hour. They actually taught us the system I use in auto-body school, and it's efficient and quick.

I would guess at $60.00 for a F11 kit it better be good Chit. But I have seen Youtubes on not to use it.

Paste seems to last longer or is it just me?

But FYI... For the old DD I use cheap (dollar general/family dollar) furniture lemon spray polish. It has UV protection lasts about 2-3 weeks and takes less than 5 minutes to wax and buff my van or Expedition. Learned that trick from a recreational dealer who waxed his vehicles with a dust mop. Don't over-spray, just a mist or you will be buffing forever to get the excess off.
