I'm looking for a part number for the passenger side sport mirror glass. These are true GS sport mirrors, so I'm not sure if Camaro/Nova glass will fit or not. Any suggestions on a supplier?

My GS455 didn't come with a RH mirror, if I install one would it reduce the value of my car? It is all original now but I hate that I cant see down the passenger side while backing

Frankly, I think RH rear view mirror is a safety item like a conversion from drum to disc brakes for modern driving. I think that the originator of this thread as referring to the mirrored glass for sport mirrors rather than the regular Buick chrome mirrors. The Parts Place just started repro'g the '70 specific RH chrome mirror (with the Tri-shield).

I have a project now trying to find correct date coded mirrored glass for a set of early Buick sport mirrors. I recently (last week) bought some replacement mirrored glass (only) for LH and RH sides from JEG's (Brand was 'OER') because they were only like $4/each. I was going to have the date codes etched locally. The OER glass is slightly thinner and is a little larger in all dimensions, but close enough to be able to have them ground to the correct shapes for each.

When did a mirror on the RH become mandatory?

Logan Go to a Glass and Mirror shop. You know the ones that have Shower doors. They will cut the mirror. Exactly like the one on the car. Just need the old mirror for them to use as a stencil. Then go to a reputable sign shop that has a Good decal printer. And they will duplicate that little number code on the glass. Just stick it on. If you want to look original. Past that. Who cares if not 100% original. value of cars are down. Never to return. They made me a mirror. Nobody can tell.

Decal sign shop can transfer black little fuzzy letters / Numbers on a clear film with Adhesive.
