If any one who frequents the Turbo and Supercharged v6 boards could pass this along.... There's a damaged 3800 series engine from a 1998 Park Avenue Ultra that will be "given" to our local scrap man unless we can help it find a better home. A loose spark plug destroyed #4 piston. It still has the heads, roller rockers, lower intake, crank, rods..... basically everything except fuel and induction pieces. There was no core charge when this engine was replaced, so if anyone can make an offer, contact: Charles Smith, Beckley Auto Mall Parts Dept. 1-800-529-6284. Anything over shipping cost is all profit to them, so it can probably be had reasonably cheap. If no one is interested, I may try to get it and store it until I can study up on how much is interchangeable with a GN 3.8, or part it out. But I know there may be someone in the Buick community who could make use of it now.
Dwayne - I would be interested once I get back to NY. But...that won't be until sometime in April (as of right now). Don't know if it's something you could hang onto for that length of time or not.
